Do I need to make an appointment for my repair?

No, appointments are not needed for repair drop offs. Just stop by during store hours.

How does an email or online estimate work?

It’s simple, just take good photos of the damage, note the make and model of the item, and include that information (along with the photos) in the online estimate form above. Or you can send an email to service@bondstv.com.

Where do I bring large items for repair?

We have a loading zone that customers are free to park in or back up to. The loading zone is located right in front of the main entrance.

What if my item is too big for me to carry?

We always have a technician on hand to help with loading and unloading of large items.

Are there items you don’t repair?

We don’t work on CRT or DLP TV’s – we can order and install a lamp for them, but will not work on the TV itself.

We don’t work on TV’s larger than 75 inches, unless the TV was purchased from us and still under warranty.

We don’t work on Panasonic Plasma TVs because it has become too difficult to get parts for them.

We don’t work on Bose products as they are a proprietary brand.

Can you repair my TV at my home?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer in-home TV repair. We can pick up and/or drop off your TV for service, however there will be trip fees based on your location.

What does a TV typically cost to repair?

Most TV repairs average $200 - $300.

What if my TV has a damaged screen?

If your TV has a crack, whether it looks internal or external, it will most likely need a replacement screen. Most replacement screens start around $500 and can go up to almost $2000 depending on the model and size. While those prices include labor, the cost of the repair can often exceed the value of the TV and therefore the better option is to just purchase a new TV.

What if my TV is no longer under warranty?

If your TV is no longer under a manufacturer warranty you will likely have to pay out of pocket for the repair, however you can also check with the credit card company you used to purchase the TV to see if they will warranty a repair (TV must be within a few years of purchase).

What if my TV is still under a manufacturer warranty?

Bond’s is a self-servicing dealer so unless the TV was purchased from us, we cannot cover warranty repairs. Contact the manufacturer for more information on how to repair your TV under warranty.

Does my repair come with a warranty?

Yes, Bond’s offers an industry standard 90 day warranty on parts used for the repair and 30 day warranty on service performed.

Do you work on universal remotes?

Yes, Bond’s does work on the URC (Universal Remote Control) brand of universal remotes. If your URC remote is still under warranty or has a manufacture defect, we may be able to provide you with a discounted, or even a no charge, replacement if applicable. Please call us for more information.
